The importance of natural materials

Whether it is summer or not, the skin must breathe!  We’re pretty sure moms, grandmas or aunts have told you that at least once. Whether they meant makeup or wardrobe - they are absolutely right!

Although the procedures of material processing have almost reached their perfection so artificial materials are high quality and pleasant on the skin, we agree that the skin is our largest organ and that it should be taken with extreme care.

We are big supporters of skin care! A few people know that Lolam, for 5 years of existence does not use professional make-up artists when shooting collections. We love our beautiful girls as they are, so they put on their own makeup, as they would do on a daily basis.

The most common natural materials in our country are cotton, viscose and linen.

It seems to us that everyone loves cotton! It is easy to combine, easy to maintain and we always feel comfortable in it.

On the other hand, it seems to us that linen has been unfairly neglected. Its silky shine makes it elegant and at the same time it provides maximum conformity. We love linen because we can wear it to the seaside, mountains, or to any summer adventure in nature. When September comes, we will seductively walk the city streets in our linen dresses, shirts and pants.

It is an interesting fact that the linen plant was highly valued by the ancient Egyptians, so its images can be seen on the walls of the mausoleum. Due to the extremely high temperatures, the wardrobe made of linen was their must have.

Our everyday inspiration are strong, unique and brave women so we dedicated our new collection #NYMPHS to them. Guided by the needs of an active woman, the importance of preserving our skin, the tenderness and beauty of the material, this collection is enriched with unique linen dresses, blouses, pants and tops.

Linen fibers absorb sweat from the skin and for that reason we have that fluttery and pleasant feeling while wearing it. Because of that we can say that, if it is not so far, linen clothes must be a must have in every woman's wardrobe!
